A winter break travel

Holidays are supposed to be a the festivities that change our routinary, repetitive, ephemeral existence, so here we go.

I don`t, is not common for me to bring any holiday some importance they are so simple (for me) just days where people get together and, enjoy? I don' like them much, I feel out of place around people, so... I'm just gonna write about a time I had to travel out for a holiday with my sister.

It was the 2015 and our cousins invited us to pass the winter break (2 weeks) in Pto. Montt located in Los Lagos,10th Region. We never had anything to do during winter break so we accepted and went there by Bus, once we arrived, settled and rested in our cousin's house we pretty much did the same as tourist we visited important and interesting places, ate seafood, we sailed to ChiloƩ, an archipelago and took a walk around the place learning about the local myths. The last days we just hang out with our cousins around the city, shopping, eating, etc. it wasn't much of an interesting place, at least for me, I constantly felt bored, nevertheless, the place wasn't as noisy like Santiago, that was something I liked about the place. I also visited Frutillar, I loved that place.

A place that I would like to visit

Australia has always been a place that intrigued me for a long time since I learn about the existence of this isolated continent far from others.

I heard about it when I was in middle school, learning about the rising colonization that originated from Europe, then it grow more in biology, when we were learning about the very special ecology that it holds thanks to its particular weather, it can reach up to 118°F in some places, that´s really hot!. For someone like me it would be unbearable, where I live it barely reach up to 93°F in summer.

Nevertheless of the weather, the flora and fauna is stunning, how it is possible to coexist in such a hot place? The local flora and fauna must have a very strong resilience and survival skills, it's fascinating. The landscape it´s also very intriguing the special shapes and form that some places hold thanks to the erosion.

The cities that where build upon this land are nothing to leave out of this post i would love to visit and know about them, especially the man made landmarks.

And last but not least I want to try and taste their cuisine and pastries, specifically their pastries.
