Well, this is my last blog post that I will be doing over here, is about my evaluation experience with this blog platform and the topics that had been used for the previous post, with this one plus the previous ones there is a total of 10 with different topics that varied from music, videogames, summer holidays to future jobs, major degrees, etc. The sudden topic's changes on how different they were between them was a bit silly, one day you write about your music tastes and the nest day you have to write about a dream job you want to work as.
The experience as I see it was a bit silly, one for the sudden difference between the topics chosen to be written about and about how repetitive some of them were, but even with those aspect it was a bit fun, mostly because it's the first and only time that I will be using the type of media, I have other accounts in different media.
My writing skill, I don't really know if the have improved a lot as I already have a tight grasp in matters of writing in English thanks to my online friends that most of them speak or use English to communicate, so I had to learn a vast vocabulary in order to chat with them.
I don't know if I want to include something to this. Eh... something else that I want to write about... Here? No. I have other social media platforms were I rant with some friends and even play with.
Hi, this time I'm wirtting my penultimate blogg post, until now It settle down to be mostlly about ourselfs along with some future aspects that we want in our lifes like our dream jobs, future plans, etc. Now I was asked to writo about what I would change about my current study program at my current college, that study program as foretold on my previous posts is Biochemistry, the program last a optimal time of 11 semester, currently the six first semester is a general formation as they say and it's all about the introduction and proper formation to the fields of study, the next 4 semester is specialized, that means that you have to choose different fields in order to handle different aspect of the degree, those aspects vary from Clinical, Investigation of the field and the industry and service aspect of the degree, the last semester consist of the "degree's memoir", this part really need to improve, because of the academic load that involve the suddenly change from 6-7 semester.
The degree program says that it last in and optimal lenght of 5.5 years meaning that it is and advance degree in matters of the amount of branchs, it's even worse beacuse it's just the pregrade.
Our college facilities is in good states, but there is a huge need of a cafeteria, that's because we are currently using the cafeteria of another faculty next to us, as well of another great classroom and a auditory
The teachings methods are great thanks to the implementation of technology that greatly helps the academic to express the teachings.
This time I was asked to talk about the location I would like to go for my summer holidays , to be more specific the plans I have for them.
I'm planning to travel to Los Lagos, which is the X region of Chile located at the middle south of the country. There I will pass the time in the house of my great grandparent from the part of my father, my great grandparent along with a part of her family are the owner of a part of the land there, they are farmers, they live they life harvesting and selling their fruits of hard work, I usually camp close to their cabin, the reasons to go there is because of the landscape, my mother likes to escape from the city to a place more calm and nice, honestly I hate it, I talk about it because I don't go out for the holidays and pretty much I'm forced to go somewhere and forced to make a face of joy during the whole trip, lying about pretty much that I like the place so they can shut up and leave me alone so they can forget about me and stop annoying me about the place and the importance of family, stuff like that, thanks god that now I'm older and they can force to go out so when they say they are gonna take along to somewhere I bluntly tell them NO, and go out somewhere so they have to go without me and just accept it, I know it's a bit childish but I don't care, I have been forced to act like I enjoy it and that I'm happy since I was conscious so know they have to accept the fact that I don't care to spend time going there like some kind of family tradition or whatever.
Well there 2 point that I have to complete for this post so here they are, I would really like to go out of Chile like forever, I love sweet & sour food, spicy & sweet, I find really tasty the type of food that combine different tastes that are very unlike between them, these are the best dishes out there.
Hi, this time we were asked to write about a our favorite songs and and well the list is broad when it comes to the different genres that they aboard, most of them are voiceless as I prefer the listen to the band more than the vocals, and in a retrospective way I seem to prefer the songs that you can hear string instrument that goes along with the song and even more that the they are the main instrument, and not lost in a chorus of different instrument
My favorite songs my vary one from another but I like to hear them over and over on my headphones, chiptune has been a genre that I liked since I began to listen to them, I really love the songs and rhytm that this genre carries are strongly related to the videogames of the old era, an instrument that some of the chiptune artist use for they creation is the Omnichord, a song that I love is "Fight with your devil" by Killerblood.
The other ones that I like are a bit more conventional when it come to instrument, not only that but the ambient that they carry are more relaxed (some of them) in comparition to the ambient that chiptune music carries, some of the are "Temptation" by M2U and "Run Lads Run" by Killerblood, 2 Big compositors that I have been listening a lot lastly.
That's not all but there other songs that I love and are the OST of videogames, some videogames put really effort to the music that they want to use in their game and the result are wonderfull and unique, for examples games that have some of the best Music are, The Soul Series (Demon Souls, Dark souls, Bloodborne, etc,),
The Drakengard (and post Nier) Series, and Hollow Knight .
The topic this time is very interesting to me cause is about postgrades, for me the reasons why i choose my current pregrade was to have a a good base to my future interest, my interest in postgrades are microbiology, parasitology, virology,etc. In general I'm interested in the study of the small world around us composed by microbes and others, the interactions between them along whit the effects that they produce in the human body.
The reasons to why I choose these kind of subjects are because I always found out how such small things like them can be very simple and complex at the same time, what they, how they do it, etc.
As a child I have seen different news about sickness and pandemics that affected the human world, the thought that so much damage was done by such things wake up my interest for them.
I aspire to be able to do my postgrades studies out of Chile, the experience that I can gather from a different kind of education, researches and a different perspective to the importance of science in a ever changing world, and to be able to do a full-time course is a dream of mine, as a matter of fact I would like to do my postgrades studies In Canada, I really like the weather. Some people find that my interest are very chaotic to how my personality was back in school.
The Topic chosen this time is about a very broad one, Art. Art can be very broad when we think about it, the aspect that it take are numerous like Paint, Music, Poetry, sculpture, Movie, etc. It highly depends in the person to what they consider as art, the point of view vary one person to another, that's why this topic can be a tricky one.
This time I'm gonna choose some examples of different types of expression.
Web comics (Cartoons), I love to see them there is just so many of them, along with the different types of humor and drawings is just... I always get excited when one of my favorite cartoonists upload a new one, as an example I have chosen Sarah Andersen, I just love her job along with the humor, it's very relatable in these times.
Writing, I find that it is a form of art too, there are a lot of stories that a book can contain, some of my favorite genres are epic and mystery, an example of a writer is Stephen King Tolkien, there are tons of book of them that I like, I wouldn't name some of them there are just so many.
Music, I'm always listening to it when I go anywhere, always with my ear covered and listening to something, music is a very ancient type of art that grow along with the humans it has changed so much in time and have so much types of different genres associated , I may not have the best taste but I don't even care, some of the artist that I like are M2U, Killerblood, Eyemedia, gmtn, there are more but whatever.
Visual type of Art (Paint, Drawings, Traditional, Digital,etc.) there are tons of artist that I follow, some of their Illustrations are just some mesmerizing the really big different type of drawing, painting techniques that are out there, an example is ElRanno.
Games are a very trending topic to exploit, I will first stark speaking about one that was released this year, "Hollow Knight", a game developed by Team Cherry a small Indie games company, that proved that games doesn't have come from a AAA company to be masterpieces.
It's a 2D game platform that follows the story of an character that we know nothing about, as a matter of fact you begin knowing nothing of the game, just that you have to go onward you found yourself, as you pass through you learn about the story of the underground Bug's Kingdom. The whom is now in the ruins, the game adds new and necessary mechanics that you need to master in order to continue exploring trough the kingdom and discover the truth that lies begin the fall of the kingdom and the now reanimated inhabitants. And aspect that I liked about the games was how it challenged you to try other ways to achieve your goal trough a customization fighting mechanic, along with a grim and mysterious ambient that goes well with the graphics chosen for the game.
Another game that I would like to talk about is "Stardew Valley" a game made by a single game developer Eric Barone(ConcernedApe), and published by Chucklefish, being an Indie game as well as Hollow Knight, it greatly difference itself by being a Casual farming sim game and a social sim. The game is very calming and can be very addictive, it doesn't have complicated mechanics, it's a simple looking game with simple mechanics. It certainly reached it goal to became a great and popular successor to the Harvest Moon series.
